After receiving unanimous support from the Halifax Regional Council to move forward to a public consultation in the community, the proposal for an urban wilderness park is moving closer to reality.
The public consultation will take place on Thursday, October 5 beginning at 6:30 pm at the Captain William Spry Centre located at 16 Sussex Drive in Halifax. During this session, staff members will give an overview of the proposal and community members will be asked to share feedback.
